How does Graduate Hospitality Proficiency Program (GHPP) can be compared to other traditional hotel management programs in the country?
Traditional hotel and catering programmes are general in their approach whereas in GHPP we train people to become finest hoteliers through systematic and balance approach for a theoretical and practical aspect of hotel industry/ Education. In the GHPP, you will have to undergo two years of intensive training covering a theoretical aspect of the hospitality industry and one year of On the Job training with exposure to all areas of the hotel industry. Along with GHPP, you are required to enrol for Bachelor in Tourism Studies with IGNOU.
What is the financial involvement of the student during three years?
GHPP programme has no course fees, though you are required to pay Rs 2,00,000 as a caution deposit, which is refundable after two years of your service with Jaypee Hotels on the completion of the programme. The company pays for your meals on duty, uniform, pick up and drop facility and also provide free medical-cum-accommodation assistance.
What is the minimum qualification required to join the programme or is there any minimum percentage required?
To apply for GHPP programme, you should have minimum 55% at the intermediate level, and age on 1st July 2017 should be between 17 to 21 years.
Will the GHPP trainees be in the same hotel for three years?
As a GHPP trainee, you will be learning all basics at Jaypee Hotels Training Center in amalgamation with Jaypee Palace Hotel and Convention Center, Agra. Though you may be exposed to other units of Jaypee hotels too if required. When you join GHPP, you are as a member of the hotel team. We want you to develop a strong sense of belonging and forge bonds with everyone with whom you interact.
What are facilities provided to the GHPP trainees once they are selected?
You will undergo a systematic training programme by a team of qualified trainers and operational heads for 6 days a week. You will be provided free library facility, free medical assistance during your training programme, free meals during training hours.
What happens after the GHPP programme?
On completion of GHPP programme, you will be eligible to apply for following positions: – Junior Hospitality Assistant – Hotel Operational Trainee.

What are some important dates for Admission Process of GHPP 2017-20?
- Last date for receipt of filled application form: Friday, 30th June 2017
- Announcement of eligible candidates for selection test by Tuesday, 4th July 2017
- English writing and group discussion: Friday, 7th July 2017
- Personal Interview for Shortlisted Candidates: Saturday, 8th July 2017
- Announcement of result on website: Friday, 14th July 2017
- Admission of selected candidates: 21st & 22nd July 2017

Terms & Conditions of the Institute
Selected candidates will have to deposit a sum of Rupees Two Lacs as interest-free caution deposit.
This amount of Rupees Two Lacs may deposit upfront or as per schedule is given below:
1st Instalment INR 50,000 On admission
2nd Instalment INR 50,000 By 7th October 2017
3rd Instalment INR 50,000 By 6th January 2018
4th Instalment INR 50,000 By 31st March 2018
In case any candidate leaves the training / is terminated due to disciplinary reasons, during the training period/employment, the full amount of deposit of Rupees Two Lacs will be forfeited.
A candidate who does not deposit the full amount of Rupees Two Lacs by the end of the first year shall not be promoted to the second year.
When the candidate is offered regular employment by Jaypee Hotels & Resorts and if he/she works for two years after completing the training, then the whole amount of Rupees Two Lacs will be refunded.
If the candidate leaves after finishing the training but does not join service with Jaypee Group, the full amount of Rupees Two Lacs will be forfeited.
Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Agra
